




























Based on more advanced packages, FASTBLANK has been simplified to provide users with no FEA or forming experience with an easy to use blank prediction software.
FASTBLANK calculates accurate blank shapes for simple or complex stamped parts. Unlike many common unfold programs, FASTBLANK can account for material stretch and deformation as well as straight bends. Blank predictions take only a few minutes and produce results accurate enough for die tryout, quoting and nesting calculations. As an introduction to our more advanced software packages, FASTBLANK also provides a graphical display of material thinning resulting from forming.
Fast and Accurate Solution - FASTBLANK can produce an accurate blank shape in as little as five minutes. Simply load a surface model of your part geometry, mesh it, assign a material and run the solver. The software has been extensively tested against experimental results and has proven to be extremely accurate.
Automatic Meshing and Repair - IGES and VDA models can be automatically meshed and repaired in seconds.
Built-In Materials Database - FASTBLANK includes a built-in, customizable database of common materials to help produce accurate results.
Blank Prediction - FASTBLANK predicts very accurate blank shapes for any sheet metal parts including parts drawn parts with significant material stretch. This blank shape can be used for early cost analysis, nesting to optimize material usage and even die tryout. The blank shape can also be exported in IGES format for other applications. The software also displays blank perimeter, area and minimum enclosing rectangle dimensions.
