Flowmaster in the Offshore Industry Seminar

October 26th, 2006
Perth, WA

Achieving operating cost targets and agreed production rates while meeting regulatory safety standards can lead to extremely challenging design issues for the oil and gas industry. Flowmaster is the leading 1D thermo-fluid flow software tool for engineers who need to solve fluid dynamic problems on a system level, including complex pipe networks. It is used to design large fluid systems and understand how mechanical events, such as valves shutting quickly and pump trip, may affect the fluid dynamics of the entire system. Analysis times are typically a matter of seconds.

Pressure, flow rate and temperature at any point around the system can be determined for any type of architecture including open loop, closed loop, and branched. Libraries of standard components are available such as those for pumps, valves, pipes and fittings, as well as a set of specialist components and modules such as air conditioning.

The Flowmaster seminar will be delivered by Chris Murray, a senior engineer with Flowmaster UK:

Applications of Fluid flow Analysis in the Oil and Gas Industry, Chris Murray, Flowmaster

Audience:  These seminars are ideally suited for contractors, consultants, fabricators, certification engineers, and designers.
