Free ANSYS Student Edition

ANSYS offers students a fully functional, free academic version which is only limited by the number of allowed nodes (32k for structural, 512k for CFD).

This version will run all of the tutorials available from this page and will solve other non-complex models. LEAP Australia provides Universities with unrestricted academic licenses for teaching and research purposes. For more information on academic licenses contact LEAP today.
