The Ansys Shared Web License is a new licensing option introduced in 2023. This cloud-based service operates like a floating license, enabling users to share a pool of licenses without requiring customers to manage their own license servers. It is supported across all current Ansys products starting from version 2025R1 onwards.<\/span><\/p>

How does it differ from Flexnet and Elastic License?<\/strong><\/p>

The Ansys Shared Web License allows users to work from anywhere on any device with an internet connection. In contrast, Flexnet licenses require both the user and the license server to be on the same network.<\/span><\/p>
