SUMMARY:South Australian Defence Hackathon 2024
DESCRIPTION:The South Australian Defence Hackathon 2024 is designed to shape future engineers in Australia’s defence sector. \nHosted at Lot Fourteen\, the event is centred on Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE). It fosters an environment where teams collaborate yet compete\, closely emulating real-world defence settings. \nThe hackathon will be in the format of a 24 hour design and build challenge hosted at Lot Fourteen. There will be four pre-hackathon workshops included to prepare participants for the event\, as well as a Networking evening at Stone and Chalk on the following Friday\, 8th of March\, 2024. \nParticipation is limited to only 50 people\, and tickets will go on sale for only $50 per person at 11AM on Tuesday\, 5th of December 2023. The Hackathon is open to graduate engineers (up to 3 years post-graduate experience) currently employed for a defence contractor or a final year engineering student who is working in defence\, or finished an internship with a defence contractor. The winning teams will be awarded with cash prizes and unique engineering experiences organised with our partnering companies. \nFor more information and registration click here.
