After receiving record levels of interest with 500 people registered, LEAP would like to thank the 350 engineers & designers who attended our series of ANSYS 19.0 Launch seminars and Industry 4.0 Technology days – held all around ANZ during February.
As well as being treated to a deep-dive on the core new technology enhancements within ANSYS 19.0, attendees also got their first look at ANSYS Discovery Live, learnt about the latest Industry 4.0 technology and the new ANSYS Digital Twin Builder, and got hands-on with IoT and Augmented Reality (AR).

We were also fortunate to have the teams from RMIT Racing present at the Melbourne seminar on Feb 16th – during the event they were showcasing their petrol and electric racecars, and able to show off some incredible Augmented Reality (AR) work which neatly combines the topics of the day: advanced simulations (in this case, aerodynamics with high fidelity CFD) and Industry 4.0 technology… see more in the video below.
