Ansys Fluent – Automate aerodynamics simulation for student teams using Pyfluent!
This two-part video series is focused on using PyFluent scripts to automate the process of meshing and setting up an aerodynamics simulation in Ansys Fluent. The series focuses on an example FSAE vehicle but can be modified to suit most student vehicle aerodynamics applications. We have provided example files and suggested supplementary tutorials for you to be able to work along with the tutorials below.
Part 1 below focuses on best practices for geometry preparation and in-depth analysis of the Python meshing script.
Part 2 below provides an in-depth analysis of the PyFluent script to setup an aerodynamics simulation for the meshed geometry created in Part 1.
