LEAP Australia is seeking highly talented CFD Engineers to join our team, preferably in Sydney.

LEAP is a valued partner for world-leading vendors such as ANSYS and PTC, representing solutions including: CAD, CAM, CAE, FEA, CFD, PLM, ALM, SLM, AR and IoT.
The role of CFD Application Engineer in Sydney will involve a range of activities that includes:
- pre and post sales technical support;
- technical services and consulting projects;
- sales demonstrations; and
Candidates must demonstrate a willingness to learn and a desire to help clients solve their most difficult engineering problems using simulation based techniques. This position will involve frequent interaction with clients, so requires excellent communication skills and a strong desire to understand technical problems and underlying business requirements.
A strong academic qualification in Mechanical/ Mechatronics/ Aerospace/ Electrical/ Civil Engineering or a similar discipline is required, with experience in the use of CFD/CAE software. Enthusiastic graduates with academic CFD experience are welcome to apply, along with experienced CFD practitioners with industry experience.
Experience in the use of the following software is essential:
- ANSYS CFD (CFX/FLUENT)
- ANSYS DesignModeler and/or ANSYS SpaceClaim Direct Modeler
Experience in the use of the following software is beneficial:
- ANSYS FEA
- Ansoft Electromagnetics
- Creo (formerly Pro/ENGINEER), Thingworx IoT and AR
- Or other equivalent products.
