Expanding on the traditional User Group meeting format, LEAP Tech Day events bring together LEAP customers along with experts from LEAP and our software partners to share success stories, best practices and networking opportunities
Here we will provide updates on upcoming LEAP Tech Days scheduled around Australia and New Zealand, as well as an expression of interest form for people wishing to present and share their on work at their next local event.

LEAP Tech Day – Intelligent Product Lifecycle (August / September, 2026)
Join the LEAP PTC team through August and September for the first round of LEAP Tech Day | Intelligent Product Lifecycle events to be held across Australia and New Zealand.
LEAP and PTC will share how Artificial Intelligence (AI) is now embedded in PTC tools and strategy to help companies turn product complexity into competitive advantage.
See key updates and future roadmaps for core products within the Intelligent Product Lifecycle including:
• Creo 13 (CAD)
• Windchill 13.1 (PLM)
• Codebeamer 3.2 (ALM)
The day will also feature customer presentations highlighting how local engineering companies are designing and manufacturing better products using PTC solutions.
Lunch upon arrival and afternoon tea will be provided, plus join us for Networking Drinks from 4:45pm

Past Events
Simulation – Brisbane (June 2026)
The Brisbane LEAP Tech Day | Simulation saw over 100 local engineers and student team members come together to hear local use cases of Ansys simulation technology.
Work was presented by speakers from Gilmour Space Technologies, iLAuNCH Trailblazer / University of Southern Queensland, Mineral Technologies, EGR Automotive, Kleidouchos Engineering, TUNRA Bulk Solids, The University of Queensland & ACOR Consultants. The event also featured four student teams across Motorsport, Aerospace and Biomedical competitions.

Simulation – Sydney (March 2026)
The Sydney Engineering/Simulation community converged in Olympic Park on March 31st for the first LEAP Tech Day of 2026.
Prominent local engineers from Cochlear, Sandvik, Bradken, HEO, Australian Astronomical Optics, Karagozian & Case, Caroma GWA Group Limited and TUNRA Bulk Solids described some of their recent work using Ansys simulation tools. They were joined by seven student teams who exhibited their work. View photos from the event here.
Simulation – Adelaide (November 2025)
On November 27th over 130 Ansys users convened for the Adelaide LEAP Tech Day to hear how simulation is being used in the local engineering community across a diverse range of industries and applications. Student teams from the University of Adelaide exhibited their work with representatives across the Solar Challenge, Formula SAE and rocketry competitions engaging with attendees throughout the day. Simulation – Melbourne (November 2025)
The Melbourne simulation community gathered on November 12th with over 120 Ansys users convening to participate. In addition to the customer presentations and best-practices sessions from the LEAP team, six student teams exhibited their work across the Formula SAE, lunar rover and rocketry competitions. Simulation – Perth (July 2025)
Over 120 Ansys users gathered in Perth for our very first LEAP Tech Day event, the day including ten customer presentations, best-practices sessions from LEAP and Ansys and networking drinks in the evening. View photos from the event here!
